A hospital in eastern North Carolina is seeking a B/C or B/E Neuromuscular Neurologist to join 6 Neurologists and 2 Nurse Practitioners in an established practice. The position is available due to programmatic expansion.
The department has an established Neuromuscular program with 1 other Neuromuscular Neurologist employed in the practice. The existing neuroscience team consists of 9 neurosurgeons, including 3 dual-trained cerebrovascular neurosurgeons, an interventional neurologist, a neuro-oncologist, stroke neurohospitalists, neurologists, neurointensivists, and a large team of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
This is a hospital employed position, the incoming Neurologist will have a majority of outpatient focus with minimal inpatient responsibilities. The incoming Neurologist can also have the ability to perform neuromuscular ultrasound if interested.
