An academic facility in eastern North Carolina is seeking a B/C or B/E Neuromuscular Neurologist to join an existing Department of Neurology. The department will consider both 2024 fellows as well as experienced Neuromuscular Neurologists. A fellowship is required, either in Neuromuscular or EMG/ Neuromuscular track in Neurophysiology.
There is currently one other Neuromuscular Neurologist in the practice, the incoming Neurologist will walk in to an existing Neuromuscular practice with an established referral network. This is a primarily outpatient opportunity. The department currently consists of 10 Adult Neurologists, 2 Pediatric Neurologists and 4 Nurse Practitioners in an established practice.
Inpatient Stroke call covered by the facility’s Neurohospitalist team. The practice currently has an on-site Infusion Suite as well as office Lab, EEG, EMG and Nerve Conduction.
