A hospital in eastern North Carolina is seeking a BE/ BC Neurohospitalist to work at it’s hospital based stroke neurology service. Neurologists with vascular or stroke fellowship and/ or experience are preferred.
This is a 100% inpatient position, there are day time and nocturnist positions available. The incoming Neurologist will have a 7 on/ 7 off schedule. There is a consultative service and a 16 bed NSICU unit with 1200 stroke admissions annually. The facility has their comprehensive stroke center certification in progress. There is also full support from Neurointensivists as well as PA and NP support.
