A hospital in eastern North Carolina is seeking a BE/ BC Neurocritical Care physician to work as a Neurointensivist Nocturnist. The department requires a fellowship in Neurocritical Care. The Stroke/ Neurocritical Care team is a group of 4 neurointensivists and 4 vascular neurologists.
The incoming candidate will be working in the hospital’s 24-bed NSICU. The department is seeking a candidate with have knowledge and practical skills in neurologic diagnosis and management, neuroimaging, neurotrauma, stroke diagnosis and management, invasive monitoring, intra-cranial pressure management, as well as ventilator and hemodynamic management.
The department has a team of dedicated NSICU advanced practice providers who provide 24/7 coverage and 4 dedicated Stroke advanced practice providers who provide daytime coverage.
