A hospital in southwest North Carolina is seeking a BE/ BC Neurologist to join an established and fast-paced Neurology practice. This Physician will be joining a group of five other Neurologists to provide inpatient Neurology consults and rounding of patients at the hospital. This is a full hospital employed position. An advanced care practitioner will be in the hospital to help with the consultations and rounding.
The hospital has over 400 beds and is a Level III trauma center. The facility has Advanced Certification as a Primary Stroke Center and an active medical staff of over 300 physicians representing nearly all major medical subspecialties, including established Hospitalist and Intensivist programs.
This position will be a 7-on / 7-off rotation schedule with evening and week-end call shared by all Neurologists.
