A hospital in central North Carolina is seeking a Neurohospitalist. The facility is looking for the incoming neurohospitalist to work at it’s hospital based stroke neurology service. The facility prefers candidates with fellowship training and/ or interest in vascular and stroke. They also prefer a candidate with at least 2 years of experience.
The incoming neurohospitalist will have a 100% inpatient practice. The schedule is 7 on/ 7 off, the incoming candidate can choose between either day time or Nocturnist positions. The facility is opening a new 16 bed NSICU unit this summer, they also have a comprehensive stroke center certification in process. The incoming candidate will have Neurointensivist support as well as NP and PA support.
