A leading academic medical center and school of medicine on Long Island, New York, is seeking a BE/BC Vascular Neurologist to join its growing academic stroke program. The department will consider both graduating fellows as well as experienced stroke/ vascular neurologists. Fellowship training in vascular is required.
The position offers the opportunity to work alongside an established vascular neurology team within a Comprehensive Stroke Center, with access to advanced stroke care, including mechanical thrombectomy, neurocritical care, a Rapid Access TIA Clinic, and a Mobile Stroke Unit.
The program also offers an ACGME-accredited Vascular Neurology fellowship, providing opportunities to teach and mentor residents and fellows, participate in clinical research and multicenter stroke trials, and contribute to the continued growth of the stroke program.
Neurologists will have the flexibility to develop clinical, educational, and research initiatives aligned with their individual academic interests.
