A hospital in eastern North Carolina is seeking a Neurosurgery NP/ PA to work as a Nocturnist. The successful candidate will perform admissions, consultations, and discharges. The incoming candidate will have the option to perform OR first-assist, if desired. The facility prefers a candidate with at least 2 years experience in neurosurgery or in surgery as a First Assist.
The practice is 8 Neurosurgeons and the incoming NP/ PA will take call out of only 1 facility, a level I trauma center. This will be in-patient only with no call and a 7 on/ 7 off schedule, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.
