A large private neurosurgery practice on Long Island is seeking a Surgical Neurophysiologist to join their practice in the New York City area. The group requires CNIM certification.
This is an inhouse position employed directly through the practice’s inhouse IONM department, working with the practice only. The group prefers a candidate with previous experience, ideally in advanced vascular and interventional radiology, however the practice will also train CNIM certified candidates.
Hours are based on surgeries, however the schedule can be flexible. The incoming Surgical Neurophysiologist can have a set surgery schedule. If surgeries go long for the day the practice has a very competitive overtime package. The practice is a highly integrated IONM team. All surgeries monitored remotely by a board certified neurologist.
The incoming candidate will work on mostly spine cases to start, after supervised cases they will be assigned to brain in addition to spine. The incoming candidate will work out of multiple hospitals on Long Island, mostly in Nassau County. The practice is the largest neurosurgery private practice in the tri-state area.
The practice will offer a competitive compensation package including salary based on experience and full benefit package.
