An academic Department of Neurology in Georgia is seeking a Stroke Neurologist to join the Stroke Section at a certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. The department will consider both experienced Vascular Neurologists as well as 2024 fellows.
This position will provide coverage of the inpatient neurology service on a rotating basis, take call for the telestroke network, engage in stroke-related clinical research and provide oversight and mentorship for Vascular Neurology fellows, Neurology residents, and medical students. Investigator initiated research is highly encouraged. Academic appointment will be commensurate with experience.
This section also serves patients across the state through a telestroke network that provides emergency stroke care for 29 hospitals.
