A hospital in eastern North Carolina is seeking a Neurosurgery PA to join their Neurosurgery and Spine Center. The incoming candidate will work with an experienced complex spine neurosurgeon and will provide care in an outpatient clinical setting. The department is seeking a candidate with at least 1 year of experience in neurosurgery, ideally in spine neurosurgery.
This is 100% outpatient with no call. The schedule is M-F daytime. The department currently has 10 Neurosurgical APPs as well as 10 dedicated Neuro ICU APPs, 4 stroke APPs, 1 vascular APP, and 4 outpatient neurology APPs.
The hospital has specialty-trained staff in nursing, neurology, general neurosurgery, pediatric neurosurgery, vascular and endovascular neurosurgery, complex spine surgery, neuroradiology (including 24/7 in-house neuroradiology coverage), neuro-critical care, and neuro-oncology.
