A Virginia Hospital is seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Neurologist to join their team. The incoming Pediatric Neurologist will provide neurological care to pediatric patients ranging from newborns – teenage years. The Pediatric Neurology department is reputable and well established, call will be 1:4 for the incoming Provider.
The incoming Pediatric Neurologist will have a clinical practice with no academic demands. The case mix is general pediatric neurology including epilepsy, headache, and movement disorders. The department is looking for a Pediatric Neurologist that can do EEG reading, there is also opportunity to provide sleep studies and lumbar punctures. The department has strong support from nurses and other pediatric subspecialty physicians including Endocrinology, Gastroenterology and Pulmonology. Pediatric Hospitalists are in place to help with admissions and rounding on patients.
The facility has an outpatient clinic on campus, the clinic and offers diagnosis, treatment, and care to pediatric patients with a variety of neurological conditions. This clinic offers a robust clinical support staff including LPNs, CMAs, and LCSWs.
