An academic Neuroscience department is seeking a BE/ BC Pediatric Neurologist. The position is for a Pediatric Epileptologist, fellowship training in Neurophysiology and/ or Epilepsy is required.
The position offers a faculty appointment at the Associate or Assistant Professor level based upon experience. The incoming pediatric neurologist will join a division of child neurology consisting of 4 full-time and part-time faculty members. The department has a comprehensive epilepsy surgery program, bedside continuous video EEG monitoring, and monitored beds in both the PICU and PACU.
The University has a Research Imaging Institute (RII), which has as its mission to perform basic, clinical and translational research using noninvasive, biomedical imaging methods for measuring the structure and function of living organisms. At the RII, Neuroscience research is given highest priority. Faculty members have clinical, academic and educational responsibilities at University Hospital based clinic.
