A private practice in Long Island is seeking a Neurosurgery PA to join their group. The practice requires previous experience of at least 2 years, ideally neurosurgery experience. The practice prefers NY licensed candidates.
The position is full time, the incoming PA will have a schedule of either three 12 hour shifts including nights and weekends, four 10 hour or 5 8 hr days per week. It will be a steady schedule. At least 1 night per week is required, the candidate can choose between 1 night, 2 nights, or 3 nights per week. There is a max of 3 night shifts per week for each PA.
The position is hospital-based, and will have peri-operative responsibilities, including seeing patients in the Emergency Room and rounding on the floors and First Assisting in the Operating room. The PA will work with different neurosurgeons in the practice. The PA will be credentialed at multiple hospitals. The practice is the largest neurosurgery private practice in the tri-state area.
