A hospital in eastern North Carolina is seeking a BE/ BC Neurosurgeon to join an existing Neuroscience and Orthopedic department. The position is open due to the current neurosurgeon retiring, he is a high volume community based spine surgeon. There is a built in referral network for the incoming neurosurgeon as well as full practice support from the facility and shared call.
The department is seeking a general neurosurgeon. The incoming neurosurgeon will be working out of one hospital. The community based neurosurgeon will be connected and supported by 9 neurosurgeons, including 3 dual-trained endovascular neurosurgeons, an interventional neurologist, a neuro-oncologist, stroke neurohospitalists, neurologists, Neurointensivists, and a large team of NPs and PAs.
