A hospital in a suburb of Houston is seeking a BE/ BC Neurologist to join an existing department. The facility is open to either general neurology or a neurologist with fellowship training or interest in neuromuscular diseases. The facility would also love an MS specialist. The practice will consider either an experienced Neurologist or 2018 resident or fellow.
The practice is very busy and well-established. Currently all of the physicians are 1-4 weeks out from seeing patients. Neurologists split weekend call, office hours are Monday-Thursday. There is also a Hospitalists that handles call. Each physician sees approximately 10-13 patients per day M-Thursday, and approximately 5-7 patients on Friday mornings. The afternoons on Friday are used for administrative time in the office.
