A large hospital in Houston is seeking a BE/ BC Neurocritical Care Neurologist. The incoming neurologist will be dedicated to one facility located in north Houston.
The incoming candidate will work 7 on 7 off rotating weeks. The department is looking for a candidate with at least 1 year of experience, they require a fellowship in neuro-critical care. The incoming Neurologist will manage neuro patients in the ICU, the facility has a closed ICU. The ADC is 15 pts/ day. The department has 4 neurosurgeons including 2 endovascular neurosurgeons.
The program is growing, the ICU is 29 beds with 10 dedicated to Neuro. The department is looking for a candidate to grow and specialize in Neurocritical Care specifically. This is a clinical position however the hospital has a Research Institute where clinical research will be fully supported.
The department has a neuro team that consists of neurologists including a neuro-interventional neurologist, neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, a neuro-ophthalmologist.
