A practice in Cincinnati is seeking a BE/ BC Neurocritical Care Neurologist to join their reputable, well-established physician-owned, multi-specialty practice. The practice requires a Neurologist candidate with fellowship training in neurocritical care or as a neurointensivist.
The incoming candidate will work in the ICU in a 7 on/ 7 off day time schedule. The incoming Neurologist’s position encompasses both NCC and regular ED neurology consults. The incoming candidate will work out of one hospital in a full time position. The Hospital is building a neurocritical care unit, it is a community hospital with no trauma level and is not stroke certified.
The facility has approximately 200 beds; 26-bed ICU with an Open ICU. The incoming Physician will help build the NCC program. The schedule is 7a – 7p; and 7on/7off. The practice’s other neurointensivist, pulmonologists, hospitalists, neurosurgeons, NP’s cover unit when neurocritical care physician is not there. Ancillary services include MRI, EEG, EMG/ NCV, and Infusion Therapy.
