An academic department in Virginia seeks BE/ BC Multiple Sclerosis/ Neuroimmunology Neurologist to join their Department of Neurology. The department requires a fellowship. The department will consider both experienced MS Neurologists as well as 2021 residents or fellows.
The incoming Neurologist will join an active Division of two MS/neuroimmunology fellowship-trained adult neurologists, one MS/neuroimmunology fellowship-trained child neurologist, and one experienced advanced practice provider. The incoming Neurologist will join a division with a long tradition of superior clinical care and research. The division has strong collaborations with multidisciplinary centers as well as strong core labs to support basic science, translational and clinical research.
To be considered for the tenure-eligible position, candidates must have experience in basic or clinical research and a strong interest in a career in academic medicine. To be considered for the tenured position, candidates must demonstrate scholarship and excellence in two domains consistent with the requirements for tenure in the School of Medicine.
