A hospital in Houston is seeking an MS neurologist to join their employed neurology group. The department will consider both 2022 fellows as well as experienced MS neurologists.
The practice is a very busy, well-established neurology practice, there are currently 5 neurologists in the group and all are sub-specialized except for one general neurologist. The position is open due to expansion, currently the group is booked to 2022. The practice has a strong neuroscience program and marketing support.
The schedule is M-F 8-5:00. The incoming neurologist will receive a dedicated Medical Assistant, Shared Nurse Practioner, Neurotoxin Coordinator to assist with patients who receive injectables, insurance and scheduling staff. The practice has outpatient imaging services including three 3-Tesla MRIs, one Wide Bore 3-Tesla MRI, and one Wide Bore 1.5-Tesla MRI.
