A hospital in north Houston is seeking a BE/ BC Movement Disorders Neurologist to join an existing group of 3 Neurologists. The incoming neurologist will be dedicated to one facility. The department will consider an experienced candidate or a 2024 resident or fellow.
The schedule will be M-F, the incoming neurologist will have sub-specialization in Movement Disorders. Stroke call is covered by vascular trained neurologists, no stroke call will be required for the incoming neurologist.
The position is open due to expansion. This is a clinical position however the hospital has a Research Institute where clinical research will be fully supported. There are no current opportunities for teaching however there may be in the future. The department has a neuro team that consists of neurologists including a neuro-interventional neurologist, neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, a neuro-ophthalmologist. This will be a fully employed position.
