A University in Virginia seeks a Clinician Investigator in Memory Disorder. The department will consider both experienced candidates as well as 2022 or 2023 fellows.
The incoming candidate will have a strong majority of research/ investigative work, he or she can expect a small clinical component with the majority of time will being spent in the lab. The ideal candidate will have a research background MD/PhD, have fellowship experience that includes Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, and demonstrate the ability to succeed as a clinician investigator.
The incumbent will join a division with a long tradition of superior clinical care and research. The division has strong collaborations with multidisciplinary centers as well as strong core labs to support basic science, translational and clinical research.
