A private practice in Dallas is seeking an IONM Neurologist. The incoming Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring Neurologist can choose between 2 practice models, either reading scans remotely on a contract basis or becoming an employee of the practice and dedicating 75% of their time to reading IONMs and the additional 25% of their time to a clinical general neurology practice. If the incoming Neurologist chooses the remote option, they can work from their home and do not need to live in the Dallas area, although the hospital may require a Texas license to grant hospital privileges.
The practice is a very well established private spine surgery practice with multiple locations throughout Dallas. The practice also owns their own surgery center. The group currently consists of 5 Neurosurgeons, 1 Orthopedic Spine Surgeon, a Neuro-Anesthesiologist, and a full support staff with 4 APPs. The practice is mostly out-patient elective spine.
The practice will provide a competitive compensation package for either option, either the contract IOM Neurology position where the incoming Neurologist will be paid per scan, or the employment model.
