A large private neurosurgery practice on Long Island is seeking a Surgical Neurophysiologist to join their in-house IOM department. The practice requires CNIM certification.
The group prefers a candidate with previous experience, ideally in advanced vascular and interventional radiology, however the practice will also train CNIM certified candidates.
The practice is a highly integrated IONM team with 14 inhouse Surgical Neurophysiologists. All surgeries monitored remotely by a board certified neurologist. The incoming candidate will work on mostly spine cases to start, after supervised cases they will be assigned to brain in addition to spine. The incoming tech will work out of multiple hospitals on Long Island, mostly in Nassau County.
