A hospital in a New York borough is seeking a BE/ BC Trauma General Surgeon for an attending position. The facility prefers a candidate with a trauma or critical-care fellowship, with board certification in critical care. This is a hospital employed position at a level I trauma center in New York City.
The incoming surgeon will only take call at one facility. There are currently 6 general surgeons in the department, with a 7th fellow joining in September of 2015. The incoming surgeon will have a minimum of 5 on-calls per month (in house). There is a general surgery residency through a local ivy-league university.
