A hospital in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is seeking a BE/ BC Neurologist. This is a General Neurology position, although the community has needs for sub-specialists and the hospital will fully support sub-specialty interests. The department will consider both graduating residents and fellows as well as experienced Neurologists.
The incoming Neurologist will have a primarily outpatient role with some inpatient responsibilities. The hours are Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm / Friday 8am-12pm with protected administrative time (5 days clinic time with .5-day admin time per week) working out to be 36 patient contact hours and 4 admin hours each week.
Call is10 days per month, supported by telemedicine and a tele-stroke program. The incoming Neurologist will see an average of 18-22 patients per day.
