A hospital located in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a talented Neurologist to join their growing team. The department will consider both graduating residents and fellows as well as experienced Neurologists.
The hours are M-F, five 8 hour days. This is 100% outpatient opportunity. The position is available due to a retiring Neurologist. Call is 1 week every 4 weeks, call service has a recording that takes care of Rx refills for next day.
The incoming Neurologist will have a General Neurology practice, the community and hospital has sub-specialty focus available in MS, Headache, Epilepsy, and Neuromuscular. There is also opportunity for the incoming General Neurologist to interpret EEG and perform EMG studies as desired, though not required.
The facility will provide a base salary, bonus based incentive, comprehensive benefit program, sign-on bonus, and medical debt loan repayment. Stipend program eligible while in fellowship is available to graduating fellows as well as CME annual $10,000. The facility has a State of the art, 64 slice CT scanner adjoining the Emergency Department for ultra-fast head imaging and is Joint Commission Certification in LVAD Therapy, Joint Commission Certification in Palliative Care, Joint Commission Certification in Comprehensive Stroke Center.
