An academic facility in New Jersey is seeking a Division Chief of Stroke & Neurocritical Care to join the department. The department requires fellowship training in vascular and previous leadership experience, ideally at least 5 years.
The incoming Neurologist will work in a leadership capacity and have a clinical practice focusing on stroke, including management of patients with conditions that require Neurocritical Care. The incoming Division Chief will work collaboratively with the facility’s Stroke team, including Neurosurgery and Acute Care Surgery, to develop a NCC service at the facility and a NCC call schedule and providing attending coverage as a Neuro-Intensivist.
Teaching will also be a part of the position including med students, Neurology residents, and Stroke Fellows.
