A hospital in Rhode Island is seeking a BE/ BC Pediatric Neuromuscular Neurologist to join their department. The department prefers a candidate with at least 2 years of experience.
The department is seeking a candidate with interest and/ or training in someone interested in neuromuscular and/ or spasticity. This is 100% pediatric neurology with no adult neurology responsibilities. The incoming Neurologist will have sub-specialization in pediatric neuromuscular.
Call will be shared amongst all the neurologists 1 in 5-6 cover all in patients, consults and NICU. The hours are 8:30-5 on weekdays and 24/7 when on call. Call block is usually 2 weeks.
The department is seeking a candidate with a record of accomplishment, promise as a teacher and as a clinician while also having a record of accomplishments pertinent to the academic rank of initial appointment. The department is looking for an accomplished clinician able to serve as a teaching role model for pre-doctoral and post-doctoral medical students, interns and residents.
