A Baltimore area hospital is seeking a BE/ BC Stroke Neurologist to work as a Neurohospitalist in the Department of Neurology. The facility will consider both experienced Neurologists as well as graduating fellows.
The incoming Neurohospitalist will be in an employed, full-time position based at one hospital location. There are opportunities for telehealth at other locations, just 1 physical location will be required. The practice is currently 15 Neurologists, the Stroke Neurologist team has 5 physicians and over 25 APPs.
The facility has 24/7 Neuro critical care service, 24/7 APP coverage as well as RAPID software available at all practice sites. Call coverage split between Stroke Neuro team.
The incoming candidate has research opportunities that are available, including teaching residents. The department also has weekly collaborative stroke vascular conference and bi-weekly CME conference.
The facility will provide a base salary of $300-350k in addition to a wRVU model, Relocation reimbursement, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), 403(b) Retirement plan, 457(b) Deferred compensation plan, 501(c)(3) employer, Annual PTO, Medical liability insurance with tail coverage, CME allowances (5 days of CME, up to $2500 with receipts), and Life insurance.
