A hospital in northern New Jersey is seeking a BE/ BC Vascular Neurologist to serve as Medical Director of Stroke Neurology. The department is looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of leadership experience, ideally leadership experience within a Primary Stroke Center or Comprehensive Stroke Center.
This is a clinical opportunity however academic affiliations are available. The facility is a Primary Stroke Center. The incoming Medical Director of Stroke will have a clinical practice providing care for inpatient stroke patients including the Emergency Department. The department has full APP support. The Medical Director of Stroke will also serve as a key clinical ambassador through EMS outreach and community education efforts.
