A hospital in Connecticut is seeking a BE/ BC Neurocritical Care Neurologist to join their Department of Neurology. The department requires board certification in Neurology and Neurocritical Care.
The department has a 17-bed Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit, nine-bed Neuro Step Down Unit, and an 18-bed Neuroscience patient-care floor. The department boasts an interdisciplinary team of neurointensivists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified neurocritical care nurses, and residents working within the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit.
The facility sees 1,600 neurosurgeries each year and has a LIFE STAR air ambulance system. The facility is a Joint-Commission certified Comprehensive Stroke Center and Stroke Gold Plus achievement award winner.
