Neurology Job Opportunity

A hospital located on the coast of northern California is seeking a BE/ BC Neurologist to join their existing department. The practice prefers an experienced candidate however might also consider a 2021 resident or fellow.

This is a general neurology opportunity however sub-specialty interests are supported and encouraged, particularly in sleep, epilepsy, or rehab. There are currently 2 Neurologists in the group. The hours are M-F 8-5:00, the call schedule is clinic daily phone call only, hospital call is consultative only and 1 week every 4 weeks which includes daily rounding.

There is telestroke coverage for ER in place. The practice has 1 Neurotech, 1 RN, 2 Mas, 1 HIM, and full administrative support. The office has 2 EMG/ NCV machines, a VNS computer, and the EEG machine is located at the hospital. The incoming Neurologist will have a majority of outpatient work with 10% or less inpatient. The current office sees an average of 9-15 patients per day.
