A department in the Raleigh/ Durham area is seeking a Neurosurgery PA or NP to join their department. The department is seeking a candidate with at least one year experience in a clinical setting, ideally in neurosurgery, neurology, or spine. The PA or NP will be completely independent and assigned to one location with 1-2 providers.
This position will be primarily out-patient at an out-patient clinic within the main campus of the facility. The PAs work independently and have their own nurses. Hours are M-F 8-5:00, with rare call on weekends. The incoming PA will spend 4 days with neurosurgery patients and 1 day in administrative work, there is no OR or surgery for this opportunity. There will be no First Assist or no OR with this opportunity.
