A hospital in central New Jersey is seeking a BE/ BC Stroke / Neuro-Hospitalist Neurologist to join their neuroscience department. The department will consider either a 2018 fellow or experienced stroke neurologist. Call will be a rotation, the position is available due to growth.
There will be one comprehensive center and 2 primary centers. The incoming candidate will have minimal outpatient responsibilities, 1-2 afternoons twice a month. Outpatient is only stroke/vascular neurology, there is also Telestroke coverage of the mobile stroke unit and when on call. This is a clinical position however there are academic affiliations available at near-by universities.
The facility will provide a very competitive compensation package including salary, RVU based incentive, and quality/ program-based metric system, as well as vacation, relocation, CME, and a full benefit package. The town is an up-scale community in central New Jersey. It is located approximately an hour from New York City and an hour from Philadelphia, and only 45 minutes from the beach.
