A private practice in a Houston suburb is seeking a PA or NP to join their practice. The practice prefers a candidate with a current Texas license, and experience in neurosurgery, spine surgery, or surgery. The practice will consider either new grads with surgery rotations or candidates with neurosurgery or surgery experience.
The incoming PA/ NP will work with the neurosurgeons in the practice, the doctors are in OR 3 days and clinic 2 days each week. The incoming candidate will First Assist while working with the doctor in the OR. The incoming PA/ NP will see all new hospital consults, anything called in after 5:00 goes to the neurosurgeon on call for the office. The incoming PA/ NP will work 8-5 office hours, midlevels don’t take call, however the incoming candidate will round every other Sunday.
