An academic department is seeking a Neurointensivist for a position in the Division of Neurocritical Care. The department requires a candidate with fellowship training in Neurocritical care. The department is looking for a candidate with at least 1 year of experience. The division will consider Neurologists, Pulmonologists, Emergency Medicine Physicians, or Anesthesiologists trained in Neurocritical Care.
The Division of Neurocritical Care is a diverse group of Neurointensivists, Neurosurgeons, Neurologists, Fellows, and Midlevel Providers. The Neuro-ICU is currently an 18 bed unit with the capacity to expand to 26. The ICU has the support of a dedicated neuropharmacist, 24 hour EEG support, portable CT scanner, and an outstanding support staff.
The incoming Intensivist will be a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level, the department is seeking a candidate with academic interest, including both teaching and research. Academic rank, salary and benefits will be commensurate with training and experience.
