A large neuroscience practice in Philadelphia is seeking a BE/ BC Movement Disorder Neurologist to join the department. The position is open due to growth, the incoming candidate will expand and continue to build the existing program. The department is looking for someone to start this year however may also consider a well trained 2021 Movement Disorder fellow.
There is currently 1 Movement Disorder Neurologist in the practice however the incoming candidate will be working out of a different location, there are established referral networks for Movement Disorders. Research and teaching opportunities are available, however they are not mandatory.
The incoming candidate will have opportunities for translational and clinical research, there are also med students from an affiliated school of medicine for potential teaching opportunities if the candidate would be interested in teaching.
Hours are standard office hours of 8-5:00. There is no general neurology call for the incoming candidate, the practice has neuro hospitalists that take call. The incoming candidate will have a sub-specialized practice with opportunity to build to 100% Movement Disorders.
