An academic department of neurosurgery in San Antonio is seeking a spine neurosurgeon for a position in the department of neurosurgery. The department requires a spine fellowship and will consider both experienced spine neurosurgeons with an academic interest or 2019 fellows.
Spine call will be taken concomitantly with general neurosurgical call in week long increments but is subject to change, each neurosurgeon faculty member takes a turn. There is some opportunity to pick up additional spine call during call weeks where the Neurosurgeon taking Comprehensive Call defers.
The incoming neurosurgeon will be a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level, the department is seeking a candidate with academic interest, including both teaching and research.
