A hospital located in southeast Houston is seeking a BE/ BC Spine Surgeon to join an existing orthopedic department. The incoming Spine Surgeon will work out of the hospital location exclusively. The department prefers an experienced candidate but may also consider a 2024 fellow.
The position is open due to the current Neurospine Surgeon leaving, the incoming candidate will walk in to an established, robust spine practice. The group consists of 7 Orthopedic Surgeons employed through the facility. Call is shared amongst the other Orthopedic Surgeons in the practice, it will be approximately 60 days per year. This is a clinical position however the hospital has a Research Institute where clinical research will be fully supported.
The facility will provide a competitive compensation package including full benefits and paid malpractice, this is a hospital employed position. Texas has no state income tax.
