A private practice in Dallas is seeking a BE/ BC Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to join their group. The practice prefers a candidate with a spine fellow, they will consider experienced spine surgeons as well as 2017 residents fellows. They prefer a spine fellowship but will also consider candidates with spine interest and/ or experience.
The group currently consists of 5 neurosurgeons, as well as a neuro-anesthesiologist and full support staff with PA-Cs. The practice is mostly elective out-patient spine. The incoming Orthopedic Surgeon will take the minimum of 5 ER calls per month at one facility, the rest of their practice will be dedicated to spine surgery, mostly elective.
This is a traditional private practice model, there is no buy-in. After the guarantee period the incoming candidate has an opportunity to share in the existing ancillary services. The area has a very strong payer mix and a younger age population. The hospital will provide an 18-24 Month Net Income Relocation Guarantee. The guarantee will include a competitive salary based on previous compensation as well as incremental operating expenses, relocation, tail coverage, malpractice, and a sign-on bonus.
