A hospital in northern Houston is seeking a Neurosurgery PA or NP to join their Department of Neurosurgery. The position is open due to expansion. The position will be based out of one hospital based practice exclusively.
The incoming candidate will have a mixture of clinic and OR, approximately 70/30% outpatient to inpatient/ OR/ surgery. The department is looking for a candidate with experience as a First Assist. The incoming candidate will act as First Assist with the neurosurgeons during surgery as well as inpatient consults and outpatient clinic.
The practice currently has 2 endovascular neurosurgeons and 2 general neurosurgeons at this facility. The facility is a Comprehensive Stroke Center.
