A neurosurgery practice west of Denver is seeking a Neurosurgical PA or NP to join an existing hospital based group. The position is available due to expansion, a new neurosurgeon is starting this summer and the incoming APP will work with the incoming neurosurgeon. The practice prefers a candidate with experience, particularly in neurosurgery or in orthopedic surgery.
The incoming candidate will have a mix of general neurosurgery and also a mix of clinic and OR, with an approximate breakdown of 50% clinic and 50% OR. Clinic hours are M-F 8-5:00. Call is 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month for a total of 7 days and is split between the practice’s APPs. The practice is a robust neurosurgery practice with 11 surgeons and physicians and 17 APPs.
