Neurosurgery Physician Associate Opportunity: No Call

A hospital in Houston is seeking a Neurosurgery Physician Associate with ACLS certification to work out of the main campus inside the loop in Houston. The department is looking for a candidate with at least 1 year of experience and experience, ideally in neurosurgery, spine surgery, or orthopedic surgery.

There are no weekends or holidays, the schedule is M-F. The incoming PA will work with 1 pituitary neurosurgeon.

This position will work in both inpatient and outpatient settings and can perform independently under the license of a physician or as part of a treatment team. The Neurosurgery PA position will take call, shared with the other APPs in the practice, call is paid on top of salary.

There are currently 6 APPs in the Department of Neurosurgery. The position will be a mixture of clinic and OR. The incoming Physician Associate will work with several surgeons within the practice.

The hospital will provide a competitive compensation package including salary, call paid on top of salary, full benefits, and paid relocation. Texas has no state income tax.
