A hospital in Phoenix is seeking a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant to join their Department of Neurosurgery. The department prefers a candidate with at least 1 year of experience, ideally in neurosurgery or another surgical specialty, particularly with spine experience.
The incoming PA will work mostly with one neurosurgery provider. The breakdown can vary however an estimate is 65% OR and 35% clinic. Call is shared with the other PAs in the practice, it is approximately 10 days per month. Clinic is M-F 8-5:00.
The position is available due to expansion, the department Neuroscience Institute is growing and 2 new neurosurgeons will be starting this year. The facility will provide a competitive compensation package including a full benefit package.
