Neurosurgery Physician Assistant Job

A private practice in Las Vegas is looking for a Neurosurgery PA to join their practice. The incoming PA will work with 2 neurosurgeons in the practice and share in call with the other surgery PAs. The practice is looking for someone with experience or training in spine and/ or neuro, they will consider an experienced neurosurgery PA or a new grad with First Assist rotations.

The incoming PA will work a mixture of clinic and OR, from the beginning approximately 40% clinic and 60% OR and the schedule can evolve as the PA continues. There is a high volume of neurosurgery cases, approximately 15 cases per week, mostly elective spine (90-95% elective spine), so the schedule is pretty predictable. The incoming PA will share call, with an estimation of weekend call at every 3rd weekend, most calls can be managed over the phone with possible rounding on Saturdays for patient discharge.
