A private practice in central Georgia is seeking an NP or PA to join their existing practice. Currently the practice does a full range of general neurosurgery including all types of spine, cranial, pediatric, and neuro-oncology.
Currently the midlevels take about 5 calls nights, they are off post call day after, assist in surgery, see office patients, cover ER and level one trauma center. The practice prefers a candidate with neurosurgery or surgery experience, however they can also train a new grad. The practice has an in-house out-patient surgery center. There are currently 6 board certified neurosurgeons on staff.
The practice is a very well-established neurosurgery practice and is well-known and reputable. The practice will provide a competitive compensation package for the incoming NP or PA. The city has several institutions of higher education, as well as numerous museums and tourism sites. The area offers a mild year-round climate and has excellent school systems.
