A private practice in Denver is seeking a Neurosurgery PA or NP to join their practice. The practice prefers a candidate with at least 2 years of neurosurgery experience including First Assist in neurosurgery. The incoming APP will work with one neurosurgeon out of one hospital, the hospital is located in a suburb west of Denver.
This will be a M-F position, with one night of call per week, and one weekend of call per month. The night call is light as they have 2 inpatient APPs sleeping at the hospital. The incoming APP will work with one surgeon, M-F, 2 days clinic, 2 days OR, other day varied, usually clinic. This is a general neurosurgery including First Assist in both brain and spine.
The group is currently 11 neurosurgeons and 14 APPs. Services offered include, but are not limited to general neurosurgery, brain tumor, peripheral nerve disorders, central nervous system trauma, pain procedures, skull-based surgery, spinal fusion, and deep brain stimulation.
