A hospital in Phoenix is seeking a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant to join their Department of Neurosurgery. The department prefers a candidate with at least 1 year of experience, ideally in neurosurgery.
The incoming PA will work mostly with one neurosurgery provider. The breakdown can vary however an estimate is 65% OR and 35% clinic. Call is shared with the other PAs in the practice, it is approximately 10 days per month. Clinic is M-F 8-5:00.
The position is available due to expansion, the department Neuroscience Institute is growing and 2 new neurosurgeons will be starting this year.
