A Neuroscience Institute is seeking a BE/ BC Neurosurgeon to join their existing group. Sub-specialty interests supported by the community could be in spine, trauma, or neuro-oncology. The practice prefers a candidate with fellowship training, they will consider both experienced neurosurgeons as well as 2017 residents and fellows. Applicants for this open position must be certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons, California medical licensed, or eligible to obtain a California medical license.
The incoming neurosurgeon will have appointment at a nearby university in their department of neurosurgery. Teaching and Research opportunities will be available to the incoming neurosurgeon while building a busy clinical practice.
The hospital group has portable CT in the OR and a neuronavigational system. Neurosurgery is a very busy full spectrum clinical service. The Neurosurgery Department allows for active participation in teaching activity while supporting the Level I Trauma service for the region, as well as providing services to a newly opened Neurocritical Care Intensive Care Unit.
